"Do I qualify for forgiveness?"
Welcome to the 82 new readers this week!
They've joined 7,720 readers getting no b.s. student loan news.
Hey ,
My shaky internet tried to keep us apart this week. But this message (eventually) got to you all the way from Guadalajara, Mexico.
I might be away on vacation, but I still rustled up some good stuff for you.
Here’s what we got:
🙏 Find out if you qualify for the latest round of forgiveness
🧐 To consolidate or not to consolidate?
🎤 I want to know more about you
And more…
Go grab your coffee, take a seat, and let’s get into it 👇
🔍 No time to watch? Here’s the low down:
The question on everyone’s lips: “Do I qualify for forgiveness?”
I’ll say it a little louder for the people in the back: everyone with federal student loans qualifies for the latest $39 billion forgiveness. Some people will get it sooner than others.
If you don’t get your loans wiped out right away, you’ll get credit towards forgiveness.
Some of you need to consolidate just to become eligible.
Some of you are going to need to consolidate to get the maximum credit.
The other question everyone’s asking: “Should I consolidate?”
The answer is yes, you probably should. I encourage you all to think of reasons why you shouldn’t consolidate instead. There are just so many benefits to consolidating right now, it’s almost a no-brainer.Huge thanks to everyone who came to the webinar.
It was an awesome turnout, and it was great seeing some of your faces there. We’ll send the recording—and a feedback survey—out to attendees in the next day or so. Hang tight.🎤Take my survey to win a $50 gift card
I want to keep building a better newsletter for y’all. And I want to give you as much free stuff as possible. To do that, I need to know more about the people who read this newsletter (that’s you). I’m giving away 3 x $50 gift cards at random to people who complete this survey—could you be one of them?
